Yes, it’s an all-too familiar story for our readers; overzealous driver in high-po vehicle attempting a cross between a burnout and a drift in front of a car meet crowd. The models, actors, and locations may differ, but all too often, the outcome is the same.
This story brings us to Koons Ford Lincoln in Annapolis, Maryland for the annual car show meet held on the first Saturday of August when the driver of a previous generation Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 recklessly tried to burnout and drift his way out of the dealership lot.
He didn’t even wait for the road to clear from traffic pulling the drift stunt in front of an oncoming Acura SUV, but it got worse, much worse, as the driver lost control and plowed into the crowd that was packed with people of all ages, including small children.
According to the video poster “roushin84”, the driver got lucky and no one was injured aside from his ego and ride. Not that it makes up for his irresponsible act, but it was mentioned that he did not drive away in the end but stopped to make sure everyone was okay.
