Henrik Fisker is unlike any other automotive designer and that’s what makes him unique and appreciated.
We just featured Fisker’s latest creation in the form of a coachbuild Mustang, not so long ago. That said, it seems that owning a personal brand of cars is still on the designer’s mind.
“I’m looking into starting a new company. There’s a whole new group of young people ready for the next thing.”, he told USA Today during the unveiling of the Galpin Rocket Mustang at this year’s Pebble Beach Concours D’elegance event.
One is certainly curious what kind of company Mr. Fisker wants to establish. As you might recall, he has some experience in possessing his very-own automobile brand, albeit the Karma fiasco – which could’ve been a very interesting development – still resonates in our heads.
Then again, he could be talking about a design studio. This would make lots of sense given that his portfolio includes the Aston Martin DB9, the BMW Z8 and, of course, the Fisker Karma. Probably, though, he just wants to re-enter the car making business and prove that, even though he didn’t had much luck on his first attempt, he’s more than willing to give it a second shot.
Everyone loves a successful comeback, right? Let’s see if the Dane can pull off a Robert Downey Jr. stunt.
