Arguably one of the best-looking versions of the Aventador to date, the Pirelli Edition model seems to favor gloss black wheels, as both standard and custom.
Even though those 20″/21″ (front/rear) standard wheels were incredibly gorgeous, here we have a set of really special PUR RS05.2 rims, which combine gloss black with matte carbon fiber inserts, making this car look like it came out of a Hot Wheels box.
You just know that very few cars could pull off this exact wheel design. When you’re dealing with futuristic/outlandish wheels, you need an equally convincing car to do the job of wearing them proudly.
The Pirelli Edition itself has a few cool features too, like the matte black roof, pillars, mirrors, engine cover and air intakes. Then there’s that awesome thin red stripe that you can see running along the body on both sides, matching the tire wall.
Mechanically, this car runs just like any regular Aventador. It’s got a 700 PS V12 engine, and it can sprint to 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 2.9 seconds. Going all the way will eventually land you at 350 km/h (218 mph) – this is one of the fastest supercars in the world.
Also, we’ve seen PUR wheels on an Aventador before, however those were either different wheel versions altogether, or the same version, yet a different iteration.
