Toyota’s luxury arm Lexus will be heading to next month’s Frankfurt Motor Show with a handful of European premieres – unless they’re planning to surprise us with one or more unannounced debuts.
As it stands, the highlight at Lexus’ stand will be the fourth generation RX SUV with a bolder looking body that blends sharper creases and curves, along with the addition of the firm’s 2.0-liter turbocharged inline-four petrol pushing out at least 228hp. In Frankfurt, we’ll get the skinny on the European lineup.
Also making its debut across the pond is the refreshed 2016 GS sedan with some light revisions to its appearance, upgraded tech goodies and a new 2.0-liter turbocharged four petrol version named GS 200t producing 245PS (242hp) paired to an 8-speed auto.
Finally, the CT hybrid hatch and the IS sedan will debut a new Sport grade with added design and equipment features.
Lexus has not yet shared pictures of its European-specification models – the ones you see below are from its North American range.
