Nissan has released details about its 2016 lineup for the United States, with the starts obviously being the all-new Maxima and Titan XD.

Since we’ve covered the Maxima and Titan XD (pictured) extensively, we’ll only say that the large pick-up truck will be available with a gasoline engine in spring 2016. However, Nissan did not offer any details about the new engine.

Two other updates will follow in the 2016 model year for the Altima and Sentra, two of Nissan’s top-selling models. The automaker promises “significant refreshing” for both models, with details to be announced shortly.

Besides welcoming new models, Nissan confirmed an earlier report and said it will discontinue the Xterra, which will go out of production after a 15-year run.

While the rest of the world can buy the all-new Nissan NP300 Navara/Frontier, the United States will keep the previous-generation model for the 2016 model year. It will be available from September with three new exterior colors and a moonroof for the Frontier Crew Cab SV model.

Other model updates for the 2016 model year include more standard equipment for the Versa Note SV, a new available Bose audio system for the 370Z Coupe and 370Z NISMO, a new high-contrast Almond interior for the Pathfinder (which also gets an available Cold Package with the SV grade), two new Personal Package options for the Juke and more safety assist features for the Rogue.

In addition, Nissan will introduce Siri Eyes Free as standard, beginning with the 2016 Juke and Rogue. The system allows drivers to utilize the Siri function on equipped iPhones through a voice command button on the steering wheel without having to take their eyes off the road.
