There’s really little to compete with the impact a Rolls-Royce Phantom Drophead Coupé has.

It’s a really tall, in your face car which perches the driver and passengers quite loftily indeed.

People get full view of the occupants as they enjoy gliding around in a car whose wheels move a lot, while the body remains eerily still.

Even with this softness, it still hits sixty in 5.8 seconds and a top speed of 155 mph or 250 km/h; it’s generally composed in most driving conditions, even if pushed.

XCar says it’s an experience for the driver to relish, not usually a Rolls trait. It’s not about the outright speed, because it’s not that fast, but about offering the closest sensation to the majesty of being at the helm of a yacht… on the public roads, albeit at a bit faster pace than that; it even has the teak deck in the back set the mood.
