Here’s some more evidence that motorsport is a dangerous phenomenon.

Motor racing doesn’t only endanger the driver if something happens to go wrong, but onlookers and crew-members as well. Case in point, Brad Keselowski’s collision with some of his crewmen.

While coming into the pits at Pocono Raceway, the driver locked up his brakes and slid right into the crew members which ran in front of the car in order to perform the normal pit routine.

So, what do you do if a Nascar is fast approaching towards you? Simple, you jump and keep your fingers crossed that nothing bad happens. And that’s exactly what the crew members did.

As you can see from the video, the three men tried to get out of the way, but two of them ended up being hit by the 750 horsepower car. Fortunately, both guys escaped unharmed and continued to do their work, changing the tires and whatnot. If that isn’t commitment, I don’t know what is, especially as the jackman got the worst of it.

Needless to say, Keselowski was blacked flag for the uncontrolled tire that went rolling down the pit lane after the incident.

Still, the racing driver immediately apologized via the team radio, saying:

“I’m sorry about that guys. Everybody OK?”
