These are the first official photos with the interior of the all-new Q30 premium compact hatchback, which will debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show two weeks from now.
The photos, which show both the US-spec and UK-spec models, reveal a massive center console with a multitude of buttons, topped by asymmetrical air vents and a central display. Both models shown feature automatic transmissions and a three-spoke steering wheel with controls for the infotainment system and other features.
Infiniti says the Q30’s cabin echoes the flowing design of the exterior and features the “highest quality materials and processes to create a premium modern ambiance.”
Among these there’s the Dinamica suede-like material from Italy which lines the roof and support pillars of the Q30 cabin.
According to the automaker, the front seats have been designed for enhanced comfort and support with an elevated hip-point, contributing to the “in-control sense” provided by the Infiniti Q30’s sharp dynamics.
“The Q30’s sculpted exterior and asymmetric cabin design are unmistakably Infiniti. With the Q30, we are entering a new segment for Infiniti and broadening the offer to our customers. This vehicle is a vital part of our strategy to be a top tier global manufacturer of premium cars,” said Roland Krueger, president of Infiniti.
