Mansory brought its outrageous, bold style to Frankfurt and presented this striking Continental GTC.
Truth be told, the idea behind this package isn’t bad, but the choice of colors is rather unfortunate and ruins everything. But we made our peace with it, as we’ve grown accustomed to Mansory’s style to choose the shocking, flashy path.
Moreover, the Bentley looks more spectacular in real life, although it sports a very flamboyant orange-chrome finish, contrasted by body-incorporated satin carbon fiber bits and pieces.
The tuning program also offers a plethora of aerodynamic, style enhancements that contribute to the car’s… exuberant looks, but what makes this particular Bentley so outrageous is the sheer power it boasts.
Using a higher-power exhaust system, new pistons and piston rods, a revised camshaft, new turbochargers, intercooler, and a new engine and transmission management system, the car now develops – prepare yourself – 986 Hp at 6,000 rpm and 1,200 Nm (885 lb-ft) at 2,100 RPM. Yup, Monstrosity…I mean Mansory has done it this time; the car is capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in only 3.9 seconds all the way to a top speed of 330 km/h (205 mph).
The only thing that comes close to the sheer outrageousness of the performance figures is the GTC’s interior. In true Mansory fashion the cabin is shocking, but flawless, to say the least. It even has a rear wooden deck lid – which would have looked nice if the interior wasn’t so… orange-y.
