As most of Mercedes’ recent models, the C63 Coupe will receive an Edition 1 special version which will be available for the first year of production. Debuting at the Frankfurt Motor Show, the Edition 1 models will be available for both the C63 Coupe and C63 S Coupe from market launch.
Mercedes-AMG will offer two exterior designs. The first one, available exclusively for the C63 S Coupe, features a color scheme in designo Magno Selenite Grey matt paint with yellow film coating and 19-inch Performance black wheels with yellow painted rim flanges. In addition, yellow sport stripes cross the engine bonnet, roof, boot lid as well as the side lines above the rocker panels.
All these design tweaks reflect the graphic design version of the Mercedes-AMG C63 DTM racing coupe, which will also debut in Frankfurt before hitting the racetracks next year.
Performance-wise, the C 63 S Coupe Edition 1 is equipped with ceramic high-performance brakes, while the interior gets AMG Performance seats upholstered in Nappa leather with yellow contrast stitching, yellow accents and more.
The second Edition 1 variant features a more conservative design, with the sport stripes rendered in graphite grey matt and the rim flanges of the matt black forged wheels sporting a high-sheen cross-spoke design. The sport tyres and the ceramic brakes are available as an option for this variant. In addition, all exterior paints are available for this variant.
Both variants feature the AMG Aerodynamics Package in high-gloss black featuring an additional large front spoiler, specific side skirts, lateral airflow breakaway edges in the rear apron, specific rear diffuser and specific airflow break-away edge on the boot lid.
Mercedes-AMG C63 Coupe Edition 1 models also feature the AMG Night Package with chrome-plated tailpipe trim, radiator grille with double plate in silver chrome and high-gloss black elements including the side sill panel inserts, waistline trim strip and window frame, rear apron trim strip and exterior mirror housing.
