Alongside the frugal Superb GreenLine, Skoda’s flagship model will also receive a SportLine version for the Frankfurt Motor Show.

As the name suggests, the Superb SportLine is a sportier-looking version offered on both the sedan and the estate body styles. Bringing both styling and equipment upgrades, the Skoda Superb SportLine will be available with all the current engines available on the Superb, minus the base petrol and diesel powertrains. Unfortunately, this means the Superb SportLine can’t be specified with a more powerful engine than the 2.0 TSI with 280PS (276hp). Still, most people will find that engine more than competent for the job.

Exterior design upgrades include black 18- or 19-inch alloy wheels, as well as tinted rear side windows and back window. Also contributing to the car’s more dynamic look is the sport chassis lowered by 15mm compared to the regular Superb.

Interior enhancements consist of a three-spoke sports steering wheel and gear knob finished in leather, sports seats with exclusive seat covers, pedals in an aluminum finish and trim elements in carbon.
