The successor to the VW Cross Caddy is called Caddy Alltrack and will have its world debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show.
Like its predecessor, the Caddy Alltrack is available both in passenger car and panel van formats. Unique features include 17-inch Quito alloy wheels, new Mojave Beige metallic body color and optional 4Motion all-wheel drive technology for the passenger car and panel van variants.
The VW Caddy Alltrack has a more rugged appearance thanks to the black trim panels on the wheel arches, black side sills and the lower edges of the bumpers. In addition, the black underbody protection is set off by additional silver accents.
Other typical Alltrack features include the three chrome fins in the painted radiator grille, silver exterior mirror housings from the passenger car version, H7 twin halogen front lights, fog lights, smoked taillights Alltrack logos on the front grille and at the rear, and silver roof rails.
The interior of the passenger car version also gets its own special 7Summits seat covers plus folding tables on the front seatbacks. In the panel van, the seat covers are made of tough Pillion fabric. Both vehicle variants come with a leather package for the steering wheel, handbrake lever and gear lever boot with Muscat-color stitching.
The VW Caddy Alltrack can be ordered with any of the engine and gearbox combinations from the Trendline grade. These include four 2.0-liter TDI diesels with outputs ranging from 75PS to 150PS and three TSI petrol units: a 1.0-liter, a 1.2-liter and a 1.4-liter with 84PS to 125PS. VW also offers the 1.4 TGI natural gas version with 110PS. Depending on the engine, customers can choose between the 5-speed and 6-speed manual gearbox or the 6-speed and 7-speed DSG gearbox.
Prices in Germany for the new Caddy Alltrack start at €16,485 for the panel van and €20,470 for the passenger car version (excluding VAT). The new model will arrive in European dealerships at the end of this year.
