Fresh from the Renault’s online preview of the all-new Mégane, Photoshoper X-Tomi has released his vision of the next Mégane RS hot hatch.
Obviously, the rendered Renaultsport Mégane looks more aggressive than the standard car, thanks to the restyled bumper featuring a grey spoiler, the larger alloy wheels, the more pronounced door sills and the bigger roof spoiler. Other changes include the gloss black mirror caps and fender air vent trim.
Overall, we don’t see any reason why Renault wouldn’t build the Mégane RS like this: it looks sharp and ready for action.
It’s not clear yet whether the automaker will offer the Mégane as a three-door hatchback as well – if it doesn’t, the Mégane RS will lose a bit of cool factor.
As for what RenaultSport will put under the hood, the Mégane RS should get a further evolution of the current 2.0-liter turbocharged petrol unit possibly with around 300 horsepower.
