That’s right, after unveiling the new limited production BRZ and WRX STI HyperBlue editions back in July, Subaru is now telling us how much they’ll cost when they arrive in dealers this fall.
For the BRZ HyperBlue, of which only 500 units are earmarked for the USA, you’ll pay $27,690 or $28,485 if you include destination and delivery, while for the WRX STI HyperBlue, of which 700 are destined for the States, Subaru is asking for $38,995 or $39,790 once you add a $745 destination and delivery fee.
Both cars carry an exclusive Hyper Blue exterior paint, and according to Subaru, matching-color interior trimmings, though, we’ve yet to see what their cabins look like.
In particular, the 305hp boxer engine-powered WRX STI gets Hyper Blue stitching to the standard Alcantara seats, leather-wrapped steering wheel, manual gearbox shifter boot, and console, together with 18-inch BBS black alloy wheels, black exterior badging and mirror caps, and an upgraded infotainment system with a 7.0-inch screen and Harman/Kardon speakers.
With the special edition BRZ that retains the stock 200hp 2.0-liter boxer, buyers get Hyper Blue stitching accents on the seats, shift lever boot, leather-wrapped parking brake handle, and floor mats, with the same color appearing on the center console kneepads and door trim. The RWD coupe rides on 17-inch black alloy wheels, and like the WRX STI, it also features black finish exterior badging and mirrors.
