We already know this Honda Odyssey with over 1,000 hp from older videos, but it was never driven like this. Matt Farah tries it on in the video below, along with a mad 1970s Porsche 911 built by the same shop – it too makes 1,000 hp.
Farah admits he’s really scared by the latter, and knowing its reputation, the crazy power figure certainly makes it easier to misplace the car. However, the Porsche still feels okay according to the reviewer who’d much rather just take the Odyssey.
And you’d probably take it too, with its manual gearbox from an Acura TX and gear controlled boost. You only get full pressure (40 psi) in 6th, according to the guy behind the shop that built it, Bisimoto from Canada.
It’s also got an air ride system, so it offers plenty of comfort, but Farah points out it could do with a stiffer setting at times. I`d add that they should also cover that exposed radiator / intercooler for a cleaner look.
