It may have been replaced with the more potent M4, yet the BMW M3 E92 can still pack a punch on the track, especially if it comes with some improvements.
In fact, it can still be a thorn in the side of many current models, even though it was conceived to be something more than just a track-muncher. That’s the beauty of the M3 E92, and all other M3 models; the fact that they all can be customized to convey you in a premium ambiance, or be the hardest time-attack machines ever.
This particular example, modified by European Auto Source, is described as an M3 for the track and for the streets, although it kind of looks more like dedicated exclusively for the former. The naturally-aspirated 4.0-litre V8 growl has been replaced with a supercharged whine, as its owner chose to increase the power output with the help of an ESS forced-induction unit.
It features Crazy Engineering and APR Performance aerodynamic packages, TE37 wheels wrapped in Yokohama Advan Neova AD08 R tires and Takata racing seats.
Although clearly made for track-racing in mind, the car is still a street-legal monster and that’s why it features all the creature comforts you’d expect from an M3. Sadly, European Auto Source didn’t specify any performance figures; given that the S65 engine pumps out 414 HP (420 PS) in standard tune, we bet its output is now way past the 500 mark.
