It’s not often that we think about the MG3 when talking about superminis, but the Chinese-owned company is keeping it alive with a model year update.
The 2016 MG3 adds a couple of fresh paints to the lineup, called the Red Rose and the Hello Yellow, which are available with white or black roof color combinations. There’s also a new front grille.
Under the hood, MG said that the revised 1.5-liter petrol engine now meets the Euro 6 emission standards and emits 124 g/km of CO2. The unit offers better fuel consumption thanks to the stop-start function.
The small city car, which was launched in 2013 as a facelift, is available in four grades, the 3Time, the 3Form, the 3Form Sport and the 3Style. Prices start from £8,399 and go up to £10,999 for the range-topping model. The mid-range variants cost £9,599 and £9,899, respectively. MG also offers the small hatch with 0 percent finance in the UK
