UK customers looking to purchase the recently introduced Allroad Sports version of the Audi A6 can now place their orders for any one of the three available engine configurations.
By hurrying up with your order, you could conceivably receive your car in time to face the fast-approaching harshness of winter, which is something the A6 Allroad is rather good at. The enhanced specs of the Sport model will probably make it that much easier for you to forget about the bad weather and focus on enjoying your car.
Standard specs on the Allroad Sport include new 19″ alloys, all-LED headlights, dynamic rear LED turn signals, electrically adjustable front sports seats and privacy glass.
The new full LED headlights replace the older bi-xenon units found on regular A6 Allroad models, while a high beam assist function is also added as standard, which is a great way to earn some bonus points with those of us who really enjoy these types of clever and actually very useful safety systems.
The rear LED turn signals operate in a sweeping motion on the Sport models, to the benefit of other drivers, raising awareness – like we’ve seen on a couple of other Audi models.
As for the 19″ alloy wheels, they feature a new 10-spoke design with a matte titanium finish, matching the car’s well endowed off-road personality. Inside, the sports seats come in upgraded Valcona leather and are complimented by the Alcantara door inserts, while the SD card sat-nav system, Audi Music Interface, Audi parking system plus and deluxe four-zone air conditioning system round up the features that make the Allroad Sport stand out.
The previously mentioned £49,455 (OTR) price tag is hooked up to the “entry-level” V6 TDI 218 PS version, whereas the more powerful 272 PS model will cost you £51,015.
Those who are willing to spend the full £55,825 will get to enjoy the top of the line V6 BiTDI 320 PS version of the A6 Allroad Sport, which is able to accelerate to 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 5.5 seconds despite weighing in at 2,030 kg (4,475 lbs).
