Ferrari has used the Aperta moniker several times throughout its history, including on the 599 and the 458, but what would you say if it decides to bring it back on its newest front-engined exotic, the F12tdf?
It would be a good example on how a hot supercar can become even hotter with minimum visual intervention, but with an updated chassis to cope with the lost roof.
As you have probably already figured out, these images are nothing more than renderings, as Ferrari hasn’t announced any plans for such a model, but since its predecessor, the 599, was offered in a limited-edition SA APERTA version, we cannot rule it out completely.
The impressive-looking machine may remind us of the F12 TRS too, but its bodywork is different and, if Ferrari decides to give it a go, then it will probably bring a simple light soft top, similar to the one on the 599 SA APERTA.
