Renault is offering the new Megane in a five-door hatchback body style for now, but that doesn’t mean we cannot think on how the three-door “coupe” version might look like.
We’ve already seen it in previous renderings from a couple of months ago, but that was the regular version of the vehicle and we have to admit it doesn’t look half bad. However, the latest rendering focuses on the current range-topping version of the range, the Megane GT, and it was created by X-Tomi.
We can notice the same front fascia as the one used on the five-door Megane GT, but apart from the three-door configuration, the most striking difference is the sloping roofline that gives it a more dynamic look.
The three-door Renault Megane will have some serious competitors in the Old Continent, which include the Volkswagen Golf or the Opel Astra GTC, among others, and it should join the five-door hatch sooner rather than later, with a Sports Tourer, aka estate, version completing the line-up.
