Taking a ride in the limited edition supercar made by Ferrari is like a late Christmas gift.
However, most don’t get to enjoy exotic vehicles, even from the passenger seat, so videos like this one, combined with a widescreen monitor and a nice pair of headphones, will bring you closer to the sensations felt inside.
The footage shows a Giallo Modena-finished supercar, the Italian way of saying “yellow”, in action on the famous Monza track, going as fast as 280 km/h (174mph), from the passenger’s point of view, so buckle up, adjust the volume and prepare to hear the wonderful naturally aspirated V8 engine in its natural habitat.
The Ferrari 458 Speciale broke cover two years ago, at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show, and it was a last hurrah to the 458 lineup, before the 488 GTB was introduced. The model is the spiritual successor of the 360 Challenge Stradale and F430 Scuderia, and it needs just 3 seconds to reach 100km/h (62mph) from a standstill and it can go up to a top speed of 325km/h (202mph).
