Tesla will integrate the popular music streaming service into the Model S and Model X, but only for customers in Europe, Australia and Hong Kong for now.
The previous music streaming partner of Tesla, Rdio went out of business leading the electric car maker to choose Spotify Premium to replace them.
The good news is that customers will not have to pay the $10 subscription fee of the service, nor they will need to register with Spotify, as every car will have its own Premium account.
If you drive a Tesla, you will be able to access the huge music library of Spotify without worrying about extra costs as Tesla will not charge any data streamed from the music service.
The update will eventually reach US-registered cars as well, but owners of the Roadster are totally excluded.
