This is then, the all-new Volvo S90, leaked in all its glory, our first chance to look at the new Swedish flagship in the metal right before the official debut.
This set of press photos were originally leaked by Autoblog.nl and show us a sleek executive sedan, featuring the latest design features of the Swedish company like the distinctive “Thor’s Hammer” LED front headlights and a totally new approach for the rear end, with C-shaped LED tail lights and a pair of trapezoidal exhaust tips.
The new Volvo S90 is based on the scalable architecture that debuted with the XC90, which means many of the powertrains will be shared with the large SUV.
The cabin follows the same spirit, with a tablet-like infotainment screen dominating the dashboard and Volvo’s new interior approach which eliminates most of the physical buttons in favor of a cleaner look.
Thanks to the extensive leaks, we know for sure that Volvo is also prepping an estate version of the S90 as well, which will be traditionally called V90.
The new Volvo is expected to make its official debut later in the day.
