Despite being the fastest and most powerful production car at the time of its launch, the Bugatti Veyron hasn’t gone on to become anywhere nearly as valuable as the McLaren P1.
Nevertheless, and even though Bugatti lost money on every single Veyron produced, it is going ahead with launching a successor in two months: the Chiron.
But if you’re wanting an original Veyron, this particular Grand Sport is quite intriguing.
Residing in Dubai (no surprise here), it is one of the most nicely specced Veyrons we’ve come across. While many owners opted for crazy colour combinations, this particular example sports dark blue with chrome on the lower-half of the front bumper, side skirts and the rear bumper.
While the outside may be quite restrained, the interior is an entirely different story. For starters, the carbon fiber bucket seats are bathed in orange leather as are the door panels, transmission tunnel and windscreen surround. There is also expensive blue carbon fiber on the doors and centre console as well as the brushed aluminium elements found on most other Veyrons.
Limited to just 150 units in convertible guise, it will probably retain its value quite well. However, the eye-watering maintainance might deter even those with very large bank accounts…
