The Blue Oval’s compact MPV will soon be available in European markets with a new engine and trim level.
The B-MAX gets a 140PS (138hp) 1.0-liter EcoBoost petrol unit, that does the 0-100km/h (0-62mph) sprint in 10.4 seconds, while consuming an average 5.0L / 100km (47mpg US) and emitting 116g/km CO2. Sales of this variant are scheduled to begine this spring, at a yet undisclosed price.
Available to European customers “from early this year”, as Ford states, the new B-MAX Color Edition is offered with a choice of 10 exterior finishes, contrasted with black roof and mirror housings and joined by 16-inch alloy wheels with optional black finish, glossy black grille and skid plates, large tailgate spoiler and rear privacy glass.
In the cabin, prospective buyers will find the company’s voice-activated SYNC connectivity system with optional 5-inch color display and navigation system, manual air conditioning and an upgrade pack, which adds contrast stitching in Cognac brown on the seats, steering wheel, gearshift lever and floor mats.
