If anything, Red Bull Racing is well into crazy stunts, the latest being a trip to the Austrian Alps.
The team called sister outfit’s Toro Rosso rising F1 star Max Verstappen to tackle the ski slopes in Kitzbuhel in its 2011 RB7 racer.
To help it cope with the far-from-ideal levels of grip, it was fitted with a set of custom studded tires and snow chains.
The car’s throttle calibration was tweaked to give Verstappen the best possible control over the championship-winning car while speeding the car up and then back down the slope.
Sure, it was a publicity stunt for RBR, but we bet the 18-year old had lots of fun. Not a bad way to mix business with pleasure now, is it?
