The new E-Class lineup expansion will apparently go further than anticipated and include a crossover-ish version of the luxury series.
Mercedes’ answer to the Audi A6 Allroad is rumored to be just around the corner, as Motoring reports, and it could be named the All-Terrain. It will be a similar concept to Ingolstad’s creation and will be based on the E-Class Estate, adding plastic body claddings and increased ride height.
The Mercedes-Benz E-Class All-Terrain will reportedly be unveiled in the fall, likely at the Paris Motor Show, when the estate version of the executive model drops its covers, and go on sale shortly after.
The only version of the BMW 5-Series fighter offered at this point is the four-door, which made its debut at the 2016 Detroit Auto Show.
