Porsche has seen one of the best years in the States delivering 51,756 units found new homes in 2015, compared to 47,007 last year, while in December alone, 3,936 vehicles were sold.
The most popular model proved to be the Cayenne, with 16,473 units sold, followed by its smaller brother, the Macan, with 13,553 units delivered, representing the largest growth, 60 percent.
The 911 and 918 “scored” together (okay, it’s basically sales of the former) 10,101 deliveries, while the Boxster and the Cayman managed to find 6,663 new owners. The least popular model in the company’s lineup proved to be the Panamera, as the four-door sports sedan totaled 4,986 sales, compared to the 2014 figure of 5,740.
“For the fourth consecutive year, PCNA has set a new annual retail sales record by a double digit margin. This continued success is a tribute to the collaboration between our highly professional sales organization and dedicated dealer network“, commented Joe Lawrence, Executive VP and COO.
The Porsche Approved Certified Pre-Owned vehicle sales reached an all-time record in December, with 1,541 units, while the overall 2015 sales meant 14,749 examples finding new homes, a 25 percent year-over-year increase.
