Ferrari has chosen the 2016 Brussels Motor Show to introduce another Tailor Made California T.
The unique roadster pays homage to the Ferrari 458 GT3, the winner of the 2015 edition of the 24 Hours of Spa, in the Pro-Am Cup class. It came to life after a collaboration between the factory’s Tailor Made programme and one of Ferrari’s three authorized Belgium dealers, Francorchamps Motors.
This Ferrari California T sports the same livery as the 458 GT3, with a Rosso Corsa finish and red, blue and white racing stripes. Yellow accents are found on the door handles and on the matte Argento Nurburgring rims.
Its interior is inspired by the racing car as well, with Alcantara and matte black carbon fiber trim, black aluminum footwells, carpets, boot lining and floor mats in a special black material called SuperFabric, which is “a tough, bullet-proof material featuring a 3D surface finish”.
In standard guise, the California T uses a 3.8-liter V8 with 553hp (561PS) and 557lb-ft (755Nm) of torque that propel it to 62mph (100km/h) in 3.6 seconds and up to a top speed of 196mph (315km/h).
