Curious to see what happens when 1,000 BHP/tone push against 831 kg/s but haven’t found an F1 car willing to take on some Rugby players? Check this out.
Even though it’s long been replaced by the RB10 and last year the RB11, Red Bull Racing’s F1 car from three seasons ago remains a formidable machine, having won the Constructor’s title and propelled Sebastian Vettel to his fourth Driver’s Championship.
Now, the car made its way into the hands of the team’s star driver Daniel Ricciardo, who jumped at the chance to push some boundaries against Bath Rugby’s scrum.
A scrum, or scrummage, involves Rugby players trying to gain possession of the ball by packing closely together and using their strength to their advantage.
Doing the same thing, only against a title-winning Formula 1 car is a different thing all-together, and trying to guess how this little demonstration went might actually work to your benefit considering how you’ll probably be surprised by the result.
So who you got in this friendly battle between man and machine?
