Infiniti’s refreshed line-up of products is finally ready to make its way onto European shores.
Both the Q60 sports coupe as well as the QX30 active crossover are all-new and will undoubtedly spearhead Infiniti’s Geneva Motor Show display, which will also include the further upgraded Q50.
All three models share Infiniti’s new design language, as well as the new technologies and driving characteristics which set this brand apart from its non-premium sibling, Nissan.
Starting with the Q60, it features distinctive proportions and muscular lines, which eventually give way to the high performance 3.0-liter V6 twin turbo engine. Infiniti will bring out the top-spec 405 PS V6 version of the Q60 in Geneva, a car that provides one of the best power-to-efficiency ratings in the sports coupe segment.
The all-new QX30 stands out thanks to its almost concept-like exterior and elevated stance, though it should still fit quite nicely into Infiniti’s new premium compact model line-up right next to the otherwise, very similar Q30 hatchback.
As for the Q50 sports saloon, aside from getting the same V6 power unit found in the Q60 coupe, it will also come with the company’s second-generation Direct Adaptive Steering system and new Dynamic Digital Suspension, which isn’t something one can overlook when considering the rivals this car is going to have to compete with on European soil.
“This is an exciting time for Infiniti,” said the company’s VP for Europe, Middle East & Africa, Francois Goupil de Bouille. “We have transformed our product line-up and established sales records across the globe and in our region in particular. The new models set for their European debuts in Geneva highlight our commitment to expanding our product portfolio in new and thrilling directions, based on daring concept cars. This is the Infiniti way, and one that will help us achieve further success in 2016 and beyond.“
