Now that the all-new Aston Martin DB11 reared its pretty behinds in an unofficial capacity, creative folk can use a little bit of design magic to render what they saw, only with a lot more clarity.
Sure, we viewed the DB11’s front end as well, though the quality wasn’t even as “good” as the one of the rear end. Basically, these right here are the shapes and angles we saw in that leaked image from two weeks ago and aside from the proportions, which seem to be a little off, we can draw some conclusions.
The taillights are a clear evolution compared to modern day Astons, whereas the rear pillar and sloped design could remind somebody of the Jaguar F-Type, which isn’t the worst thing in the world.
Unfortunately the overall dimensions of this rendering are a bit off compared to the car we saw in the leaked image. In this case, it almost seems like we’re looking at a more compact model, much like a Vantage, and not the sleeker and longer DB.
All that aside, feel free to tell us how you feel if this is indeed the design that Aston Martin are going to cultivate for the future. You could make a case that it’s still stylish while introducing more contemporary elements to the mix. Otherwise, you might end up on the other side of the fence, screaming that it’s not as classic as the DB9 – but then again, neither is the Vanquish and everyone seems to love it.
