Lotus Cars will be attending this year’s Geneva Show with two brand new sports cars.
The announcement was made by the automaker, which also stated that Jean-Marc Gales, the Lotus CEO, will take center stage at the manufacturer’s stand this year, to “personally remove the covers from the company’s fastest ever line up of production road cars“.
Until now, there are no images, or even teasers, of its two Geneva premieres. Anyhow, apart from them, visitors will also get the chance to see the 3-Eleven up close. It comes in two versions, Road and Race, and produces up to 460hp, needing less than 3 seconds to reach 60mph (96km/h).
The “Nurburgring lap-shattering Lotus 3-Eleven” will be joined by the fastest street-legal Elise yet, the Cup 250, at the carmaker’s Swiss stand. It was unveiled last week and it drops 21kg (46lbs) from the car’s weight, while gaining 26hp. Thanks to these numbers, it takes just 3.9 seconds to reach 100km/h (62mph) in the car, which can go up to 248km/h (154mph).
