While Pagani is getting ready for the press conference scheduled for Tuesday, its newest and arguably best road-legal hypercar ever, the Huayra BC, was spotted on the show’s floor.
Created as a tribute to Benny Caiola (BC), a close friend of Horacio Pagani and his first customer, the BC is meant to be the first special edition of Pagani’s latest creation.
Setting it apart from the “regular” Huayra are the new aerodynamic add-ons that include an extended front splitter, large front canards, bespoke side skirts, large rear wing and large diffuser. There is also a new titanium exhaust system, Brembo brakes and updated suspension.
Pagani says that every body panel, except for the roof, is new and contributes to a 132 kg (291 lbs) weight loss, as the BC tips the scale at 1,350 kg (2,976 lbs).
Mercedes-AMG has tuned the 6.0-liter V12 twin-turbo to put out 60 PS (61 HP) more, for a total of 800 PS (789 HP) and 1,100 Nm (811lb-ft) of torque. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a new Xtrac 7-speed automated manual.
Only 20 units of the new Pagani Huayra BC will be built. They are priced at €2.3 million ($2.5 million),and all examples have been already sold.
