On Tuesday, the European patent office published these official images of an unnamed Lamborghini model, which is believed to be the so-called Centenario special.
Made to celebrate the 100th birthday of the Italian company’s founder, Ferruccio Lamborghini, the limited-run model that has reportedly already been sold out, will appear to the public for the first time at the Geneva Motor Show on March 1.
These somewhat distorted patent images suggest that the car is based on the Lamborghini Aventador featuring a uniquely designed body.
The exotic model should be powered by the Aventador LP750-4 SV’s 6.5-liter V12, possibly tweaked to deliver more than the former’s 750PS (740hp) and 689Nm (508 lb-ft) of peak torque.
Lamborghini is no stranger lately to extremely limited-run models based on their existing cars, having introduced several specials over the past few years, such as the Aventador J, Sesto Elemento and the Reventon.
