In typical Pagani fashion, the unveiling of the hardcore Huayra BC seems likely to start of wave of special edition models of the potent Italian supercar.
We already know that a Huayra Roadster is on the way, and according to Top Gear, a Huayra BC Roadster has already been announced to loyal Pagani customers, including Alejandro Salomon who is believed to have already ordered one.
While it isn’t know when the droptop BC will come to fruition, it’s set to be essentially identical to the coupe but with the inclusion of a removable roof, possibly like Zonda Roadster models that included a solid roof element and a fabric attachment.
As Pagani has proven itself to be a pioneer with lightweight materials, the BC Roadster may not gain any weight over the coupe.
Engine wise, the hardtop’s 789 hp, twin-turbo 6.0-liter V12 should be carried over unchanged and remain coupled to a seven-speed automated manual transmission produced exclusively for Pagani by Xtrac.
