Renault will lift the covers off the new Megane Sport Tourer on Monday, February 22, one week before the Geneva Show.
Building up publicity before its world premiere, a teaser image which shows the car’s profile was released on social media. Unsurprisingly, it mirrors the design of the hatch up to the C-pillar and has a longer roofline and a third window.
Reports indicate that its length will increase by 30cm at the rear, making for a larger boot. The cabin won’t differ from the five-door and, since the wheelbase remains unchanged, so will the passenger space.
The Sport Tourer will also be available with the existing Megane range, consisting of three petrol and three diesel units with outputs from 90PS (89hp) to 205PS (202hp) in the GT and a choice of six-speed manual or dual-clutch transmissions.
