The tuners from Renntech have worked their magic again on the Mercedes-AMG GT.
Equipped with stainless steel downpipes, high-flow air filters and the Renntech Stage 1 Turbo, the hottest coupe from Mercedes-AMG is now more powerful.
In this case, the 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine is capable of sending 716hp (726PS) and 656lb-ft (889Nm) of torque to the rear wheels. While no performance figures have been released yet, it should beat the standard car’s 0-100km/h (62mph) time of 3.8sec and possibly improve on the 330km/h (210mph) top speed.
The aftermarket specialist also added a four-corner suspension kit as well, which allows full ride height adjustability and lowering of up to 1.5in for the front and the rear.
The Renntech coilover suspension kit costs $1,980, while for the Stage 1 Turbo Charger, prospective buyers will have to pay $11,880. The price includes the required ECU upgrade.
The power upgrade, called the R1 Performance, is only available for the AMG GT S, despite the C63 sharing the same engine.
