The final line-up of presenters for the refreshed Top Gear has just been announced and as expected, it includes some very familiar names.
As we already know, Chris Evans will helm the new-look Top Gear and be joined with Sabine Schmitz, Chris Harris, Eddie Jordan, Matt LeBlanc, motoring journalist Rory Reid and The Stig.
Harris and Schmitz were previously rumoured to have been hired by the BBC to help present the motoring juggernaut and just last week, former Friends star Matt LeBlanc was confirmed as a co-presenter.
As for the new faces, the most well-known is Eddie Jordan, a respected Formula 1 pundit and ex-F1 team owner. Speaking of his involvement with Top Gear, Jordan said “I have such enormous respect for all my fellow presenters and I politely ask that they go easy on these old bones.”
As for the unknown of the bunch, that would be motoring journalist Rory Reid. He was selected after submitting a 30-second audition tape to the BBC.
