With only a couple of weeks left until the 2016 Geneva Motor Show officially opens its gates, Volvo has announced its debut list.
The Swedish manufacturer will pull the wraps off the new V90 on March 1, following its online presentation this week, on Thursday, February 18.
Based on the S90 Sedan, the more practical version rides on the same SPA architecture and it has a rear end styling similar to the firm’s Concept Estate, as leaked images have revealed. On the front, it will retain the same design as the S90 and it will also adopt the same powertrains.
Besides the 2017 Volvo V90, Volvo will also introduce the facelifted V40 at the same Swiss event. The car should gain the usual front and rear tweaks in the bumpers and lighting units, along with some minor changes performed inside. The first images of the “new” Volvo V40 will be released on February 24.
Last but not least, Volvo’s Geneva show stand will also include the new S90, which made its world premiere last month at the 2016 NAIAS.
