Volkswagen’s Touran MPV is now available in R-Line trim across the UK, featuring a selection of exterior and interior design enhancements.
The Touran R-Line comes with both petrol and turbodiesel engines, which range in capacity between 1.4-liters and 2.0-liters when it comes to the TSI and TDI units.
Buying into the R-Line range will cost you from £27,740, for which in return you’ll get a 1.4 TSI 150 PS Touran with a 6-speed manual gearbox. The 2.0 TDI diesel unit is more versatile in this case, rated at both 150 PS and 190 PS.
In terms of performance, you’d obviously want the most powerful version if acceleration is high on your list of priorities, though both 150 PS units (petrol and diesel) are capable of hitting the 100 km/h in 8.9 seconds and 9.3 seconds respectively.
Aesthetically, the Touran R-Line comes with unique front & rear bumpers, radiator grille and side skirts, chrome moldings for the rear bumper, 18″ alloys and special badging. Inside you’ll find “Black Lead Grey” decorative inserts, stainless steel pedals, black roof lining, gray stitching on the steering wheel, contrasting microfiber side bolsters for your seats, as well as R-Line logos on the backrests.
The new Touran R-Line can already by ordered from VW retailers, so all you need to do is decide which engine would work best with your MPV.
