The all-new DB11 is stealing the headlines, yet Aston Martin’s track-only hypercar is anything but old news.
Top Gear magazine got a taste of what it’s like to be behind the wheel of the Vulcan at Abu Dhabi’s Yas Marina F1 ciruit.
The Vulcan is powered by a 820hp naturally aspirated 7.0-litre V12 and features an aero agenda so aggressive that could glue the whole car onto the ceiling at 190 mph.
The 24 lucky owners will participate in a unique ownership program, which includes specialist training to allow them to drive it the way it was intended.
It may not have the same punch as the other two track-only hybrids, Ferrari FXX K and McLaren P1 GTR, but the Vulcan is definitely in the same league for pure thrills.
