More than two years after being appointed General Manager of Groupe Renault Romania and CEO of Automobile Dacia, Nicolas Maure has been replaced by Yves Caracatzanis.
Maure will take the reins at AvtoVaz, after a successful career in the automotive industry that has seen him at Valeo, Faurecia and, since 2000, Renault, as the SVP of Parts and Accessories Sourcing. In 2013 he was appointed SVP of Groupe Renault Manufacturing Performance and since January 2014, he has been in charge of Groupe Renault Romania and Automobile Dacia.
Joining the Romanian manufacturer and replacing Maure is Yves Caracatzanis, who has been with Renault since 1992 as a Logistics Organisation Project Manager. He started working at the Flins plant in 1995 and the Paint Department from 1999. In 2002, he moved to Quality Department for the launch of the Clio 3 and three years later, he was appointed SVP of Group Vehicle Prototype Engineering.
In 2008, Caracatzanis participated in the creation of the Group Supply Chain and two years late he became Groupe Renault SVP of Global Supply Chain. The 52-year old, who was born in Marseille, has been named SVP of production and Supply Chain for the Eurasia Region three years ago. Caracatzanis will report to Denis Le Vot, SVP and Director of Operations for the Eurasia Region.
