And yes, Donald Trump made it on our page – well, not directly, but because of someone else who purposely smashed into one of the Republican presidential candidate’s road signs.
The perpetrator was Julien Thomas Schuessler, 20, from North Carolina, who somehow thought that it would be a great idea to pull off the road and slam his truck into a Trump sign. Then again, the youngster also thought it would be an even greater idea to film himself doing it and then sharing the video on a small site called Facebook.
Well, some 3.5 million views and over 75,000 shares later, Wilmington Police charged the young man with a hit and run, reckless driving and failing to maintain lane control before releasing him.
When asked why he did it, an undeterred and defiant Schuessler told the press, “I did what I felt was morally right. Spread love, not hate.”
Somehow crashing into a road sign doesn’t really sound like spreading love, now, does it…
