Ferrari might have hidden the GTC4Lusso’s true character under a layer of grey paint, but now you can really let the model loose thanks to the Italian car maker’s configurator.
Just like its predecessor, the brand-new GTC4Lusso is a something of an oddity – a Ferrari focused on its passengers too instead solely on the driver – something you don’t expect from a supercar maker, which make it a unique offering in the market right now.
Nevertheless, it’s style caters to a more mature audience, which has grown past the stage of supercar-worshiping teenagers. Even so, don’t expect it to be lesser than the other models, as it still is a product of Cavallino Rampante, concealing a naturally aspirated, 680 HP, 6.3-litre V12 under the hood.
The direct successor of Enzo’s favorite model, the 330GTC and its 2+2 variant, the 330GT, the GTC4Lusso carries a lot of style cues and references to its forerunners, although it’s far from stuck in Ferrari’s past. It comes with an updated AWD system with rear-wheel-steering, and it also incorporates an electronic E-Diff and the SCM-E dampers.
So, if you think the GTC4Lusso is too serious for your taste, you can head on to Ferrari’s configurator and make it suit your (rich) needs. Ours is “Verde British” with a blue interior, because why not?
