Insanely fast would be too little to describe this heavily modded Italian supercar using just a few words, but it will make you forget about Heffner Performance’s own example.
While the latter needed 8.3 seconds to complete a quarter mile run, topping out at 176 mph (283 km/h), Underground Racing’s tuned Huracan did it in just 7.8 seconds, at almost 188 mph (303 km/h).
The figures speak for themselves. This Huracan has two turbochargers bolted on its V10 that raise its output to 1,800 horsepower (at the wheels!) and add a new 10-plate Dodson clutch setup. Throw in two pairs of drag tires and the recipe is completed.
The team at Underground Racing was happy about their newest result and it’s promising even more work made to their Lambo: “Our best pass of the day was 7.8 at 187 mph. Stay tuned for faster times as we are will be working on the X Version DCT setup next.”
This wasn’t the only fast run on the drag strip for the supercar, as just a week ago, Underground Racing scored 8.55 seconds.
