Peugeot’s compact crossover has received a mild facelift to bring it in line with the rest of the French firm’s range.
The small design differences include the addition of fender flairs and the family’s new front grille while Peugeot added a new Ultimate Red color to the available palette.
Offered with a wide range of petrol and diesel engines, the new Peugeot 2008 is among the most fuel-efficient models of its class.
All three of the petrol variants use the company’s three-pot 1.2-litre unit, ranging from 82hp to 130hp while on the diesel front we have the 1.6-litre BlueHDi unit offered in 75hp, 100hp and 120hp versions. CO2 emissions also range from 95g/km for the 1.6-litre BlueHDi 100 model to 110g/km for the 1.2-litre PureTech 110 and 130 versions.
Peugeot has upgraded the tech inside too, offering now an infotainment system with MirrorLink and Apple CarPlay, Park Assist and Active City Brake.
The new Peugeot 2008 also has the Grip Control, an advanced stability system which offers five different modes for every occasion: Standard, Snow, All-Terrain, Sand and ESP Off.
The range-topping GT-Line spec offers exclusive 17in gloss black wheels with matching elements replacing the chrome bits all around, like the front grille, the fog light covers, mirror casings and roof bars.
