This is the best look we’ve ever had at an almost fully undisguised 2017 Porsche Panamera, set to make its official debut in Paris later this year.
The guys from TFLcar were the ones who caught Porsche testing the car out in Colorado with almost no camouflage at all. The only hidden surfaces we could find were at the back where the German automaker still doesn’t want us to see the final taillight design.
We do however get to see the new front end with its new-gen LEDs, as well as the new active rear wing/spoiler, which pops up and extends like on the 911.
The Panamera was Porsche’s worst-selling model last year, with sales declining by 31% compared to 2014. The new-generation car should boost those numbers back up, especially since we can expect less weight, better performance and improved fuel efficiency.
If you’re still unable to tell what those taillights will end up looking like, take a closer look at these spy shots, as they reveal an almost 911-like aesthetic.
