Alfa Romeo UK announced the details and pricing of the facelifted Giulietta.
The Italian Golf rival is now available in revised and renamed trim levels, featuring subtle styling changes to match the aesthetics of the Giulia mid-sized sedan.
The range also benefits from the addition of a new version that pairs the 120hp 1.6-litre JTDM diesel engine with Alfa’s twin-clutch gearbox. Performance-wise, this new version of the Giulietta is capable of a 0-62mph in 10.2 seconds, a top speed of 121mph and an official combined fuel economy of 74.3mpg UK while CO2 emissions are rated at 99g/km.
The styling changes include a new front-end treatment with a honeycomb grille, piano black bumper inserts (sportier models also get red detailing) and revised headlamp and fog light surrounds. Alfa Romeo has added new alloy wheel designs, updated tail pipes and new colors in the available palette as well.
Inside there are now new seat upholstery options and dashboard-door panel finishes, a more modern trip computer display and the latest Uconnect infotainment system with connected services.
The new Alfa Romeo will be available in five trim levels: Giulietta, Giulietta Super, Giulietta Tecnica, Giulietta Speciale and Giulietta Veloce. The latter is also the fastest version of the Giulietta, using the same turbocharged 1.75-litre engine with the 4C producing 240hp which is paired to a specially calibrated version of the brand’s twin-clutch transmission.
Prices start at £18,450 for the turbo 120hp 1.4-litre version, with the new 120hp diesel TCT model asking for £22,300 and £28,480 the range-topping and TCT-only Veloce.
