When it comes to crashing cars at the Nurburgring, it seems that Renault Megane RS drivers are particularly unlucky.
If we could just set aside this particular incident and remember the one from September of last year when another Megane RS crashed into the very same barrier.
It wasn’t just the same type of car, but also the same color, the same corner, both flipped over, except that in last year’s incident the car eventually landed on its wheels whereas now it left skid marks with its own hood.
Obviously, it was a very violent impact and the driver most certainly wasn’t going as slow as he should have for that particular corner – as some people who frequent the circuit point out in YouTube’s comments section.
The small bump in the middle of the corner apparently makes it particularly tricky, especially if you’re doing upwards of 200 km/h (124 mph).
